How Much Is My Face Worth?

For today's post, I'm going to be sharing with you the products I use on my face daily, and how much it all adds up to.
This selfie does not feature the makeup I've been wearing more recently, the camera has not been nice to me lately and I can't take a good selfie with the makeup I wrote about in this post *cries*

I see this tag do its rounds on youtube and in the blogging world quite often, and I love to see other people's videos/posts, so it only felt right to do my own. I think this is such a cool idea because we often buy pieces of makeup on their own without giving much thought to how much we actually spend, maybe this is gonna be a wake up call to stop buying so much! Who knows?

Eye Primer:
NYX Proof It!: £6.00

Lip balm:

Setting Spray:

How much is my face worth? £76.95

Wow. Daily I'm putting £76.95 of makeup on my face! Not so bad though, right? I've seen some people's face be worth over £200! This was actually so much of a shock though, I expected it to be a fair amount of money, but this is almost £80! Crazy!

Have you done something similar? How much is your face worth? If you've done this I'd love for you to leave a link in the comments, these posts always interest me!
Thankyou so much for reading, I really hope you enjoyed this post!
Have a wonderful day!
Until next time!

My Favourite Makeup Brushes: October 2017

I realised recently that when doing my makeup each day, I'm actually starting to gravitate towards specific brushes (as oppose to just using the cleanest brush that'll do the job!). In this post, I'm gonna tell you what they are.

When I first started dabbling in makeup, I was so overwhelmed by the amount of brushes on the market and their uses. Remembering this feeling, I thought doing a post on my favourites and why might be helpful for someone starting out, or just looking to expand their collection, particularly as the majority of the brushes I use are low-end, affordable options.

Ellen Tracy Highlight brush (unfortunately I can't find a link)
When I first got this brush in a set, I actually thought I'd never use it! I used to use a eyeshadow brush so that my highlight would be concentrated and dramatic. While I still do that (mainly on nights out), for every day use I've started using the Ellen Tracy brush as it's bigger and gives a more subtle highlight, which gives the illusion that my skin is glowing and that I drink enough water and get enough sleep. is there anything more you need from a brush? I think not.

Real Techniques Buffing Brush
Alrighty, so I've had this brush for years, and I've had a love/hate relationship with it, but, at the moment I'm digging it, I use it after using a foundation brush to apply my base, and while it takes a little longer, my foundation is perfectly blended, I rarely feel the need to use concealer when using this method to put on foundation.

Eco Tools Lip Brush
I got this in a set (similar one linked). In recent years I've never understood the need to a lip brush, lipstick comes in a bullet the perfect shape to apply the product directly onto your lips, or with a wand that makes application easy, right? I've found that with using a brush, application is much more precise, especially when using matte liquid products that can stain the skin around your lips if your not careful. It actually makes applying a second layer easier too and it's easier to define the shape of your lips. An all around win!

Real Techniques eye brush in 200
When I first got this set, I disregarded this brush, it looked too big and too hard to use. I've recently found, though that it's perfect for applying a one shade over your eyelid, which is what I tend to do. Unfortunately as much as I love and appreciate great eyeshadow skills, I am not one of those magical wizards that possess them, I'm afraid.

Unicorn Flat Top Blending Brush
I got this brush for free in a set the the wonderful Liz drew my attention to. While the offer ended a while back, the whole set of 10 brushes still only costs £5.89 - a bargain if you ask me!
This brush is so fluffy, and is great for blending harsh lines (like if you're a failure at eyeshadow like me and mess up putting one colour on your lid!). I also found it's really good for blending colours on your lower lash line (y'know, for if you're feelin' fancy!). It also looks super pretty, which can't hurt! Considering this set is from Amazon, I'm super impressed with the quality! You can check out my full review here.

I could go on forever about the makeup brushes I love, but these are the ones that I've reached for regularly lately.
Thanks so much for reading! Why don't you leave me a comment letting me know your favourite makeup brushes? Can't hurt for me to find some more gems!
Until next time!

ELF foundation Review!

So, just like every other British blogger around, I was ecstatic to hear about the ELF launch in the UK, we've been able to buy their products online for years, but it's not very helpful to match a foundation to your skin when all you have for reference is a colour on a screen, is it?
I, like most others, was super excited to get my hands on their Flawless Finish Foundation, I've had a lot of luck with other products from them over the years, and love a good, cheap foundation as much as the next person.
Of course I had to give it a mention and review on here didn't I? After all, what's a British beauty blog in 2017 without a review of ELF?

As it's nice to finish on a positive, lets start with the negatives. I was actually very impressed with the product, but straight away, the colour range isn't great. I'm not super pale (e.g. pale enough to burn instead of tan, but not so pale that I'm mistaken for a vampire), but the lightest shade was the only one to match my skin, which was always out of stock and I was actually only just able to get it last week! But this shade matched my skin perfectly, meaning that anyone that's super pale wouldn't be able to wear this foundation. Also, there's not much choice for darker skin. The colour range is just not there. Another thing I find with most ELF products is their packaging is super bulky, making it hard to travel with and heavy, although I believe this has been a complaint for years with ELF products and is just something you have to accept if you buy their products, I guess.

See what I mean about how bulky this is?
Thank god it comes with a pump!

The foundation itself though is great. I actually don't have a problem with it. It's budget friendly at £7.50 a bottle, and the coverage is actually pretty good! Doesn't cover everything, but it's enough to cover my tomato coloured cheeks, which I very much appreciate. It can be a little difficult to apply, as it dries quickly, but I find it quite easy, and the finish is semi matte, they don't do a fully matte option, which is a shame, but it's nothing a little powder can't fix. It also smells really good too, which is definitely a bonus. The foundation also lasts all day, which is good, one of my biggest fears when testing a new foundation is whether I'm gonna look in a mirror at 2pm and realise that my face has melted off and there's nothing I can do 'til I get home in a few hours. It comes with a pump too, which I very much appreciate. Seriously, a foundation without one lasts me like 3 uses and a load of wasted product lol!
Overall, the colour range is disappointing, and the packaging could be better, but I really like the product and it's become my new everyday foundation!

Thanks so much for reading, have you tried any of the ELF products? What's your favourite?
Until next time!

Would You Rather? Beauty Edition

I saw this on Seana's blog, and as you know I love a good tag, even more so when it involves beauty so I had to do it! click here for Seana's post, lets go!

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses or lose all your palettes and eyeshadows?
Easy, palettes and eyeshadows! I quite often go without eyeshadow when I do makeup, but lipstick? That's another story!
Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

Chop it all off definitely! When trying something new, my motto always is 'don't worry, hair grows back!' Also, have you ever tried maintaining a mane for long, thick, frizzy hair? Impossible!
Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Is neither allowed? I never wear blush, my cheeks are naturally super red so I'm usually putting on makeup to hide them!

If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Makeup definitely! I'm not really a clothes type-of-a-gal, like, I wear them, obviously, but I'm not crazy about brands or anything, makeup on the other hand, do you know how many Lime Crime lipsticks I can buy with $1000?
Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

Probably eyeliner as lipstick, it'd be waaay easier to apply and you can find eyeliners in every colour!
Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

Us lot in the UK aren't blessed with Sephora, so I'd have to say MAC, buying makeup online is dodgy if you haven't already tried the brand and know what colours work for you or if the textures are nice etc.
ould you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lipcolour for the rest of your life?
Eyeshadow, I generally tend to only stick to an orange (or maybe brown) anyways
Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
I wear winter clothes all year round anyway! I live for the cold weather, dark mornings and Christmas!

Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year around?
Dark? I don't really know because I don't really paint my nails

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Ponytail. Messy buns are my nemesis. They always look so good on other people, but I'm not lying when I say I look like the poop emoji when I wear one.

Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eyeproduct?
This is so tricky! Probably lip product because I have so many I love using, but because I'm never too adventurous with my eyes I'd be lost without the products I use now!

Would you rather never be able to paint your nails or never use lipgloss?
Lipgloss. I don't do my nails often but sometimes I like to make an effort. Lipgloss is gross to me. who wants something on their face their hair is just gonna stick to anyway?

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none or sharpie them in everyday?
Don't. Do. This. To. Me. I am highly uneducated about brows as it is so I feel unqualified to answer the question.

Would you rather live without makeup or nailpolish?
Is that even a question? Nail polish. I am not pretty enough to be roaming the streets showing my bare face!
Thanks so much for reading!
Would you answer these questions differently? As for tagging, I'm gonna tag the people I want to do it on Twitter (you can follow me here), but if you answer these questions I'd love for you to leave a link! If you don't have a blog, you're more than welcome to choose your favourites and leave them in a comment!
Until next time!

Monthly Playlist: September 2017

So, it feels like I've been a little distant from the ol' blog this month, although I've managed to get semi-regular posts up, they've all had to be scheduled, which means not writing for sometimes 2 weeks because life has suddenly become super busy. It's been the best and busiest month I've had in a looong time! It's actually been a bit of a blur, everythings gone so fast but this month has treated me very well, so, thanks, August!

August saw me finally leave the job I hated so much and start working full time. My new job is shift work, which is way more tiring than I ever anticipated! But it's so nice to not dread going to work!
I also went to Reading Festival which could possibly be the best experience of my life! If you've been reading this blog for a couple months, you'll know how much I adore music, so going to a festival was incredible for me. I saw my two favourite artists live, as well as finding new music to make my ears and my mind happy :).
Look how close we were!
Halsey's set was beautiful!
Yeah I totally cried because we were so close to Halsey, now, if she did see me she's gonna know me as 'that kid with blue lipstick and a hella ugly crying face!' The girl with me is Leo, who I met there, she was so incredibly nice to me and gave me lots of hugs while reassuring me that I wasn't being stupid I was just overwhelmed. Here's her Twitter.

Of course I had to drag my friend to see The Pretty Reckless (again), who were incredible (again)

Fifth Harmony's new album came out this month too (on the day I went to reading, actually), which I sorta slept on for a while before listening to it in full and realising that there are definitely some gems!
I also realised just how amazing the blogging community is, the community is full of so many amazing, supportive people, and I'm so proud to say I'm part of it. So many things to be happy and grateful for this month, it's been happy :).

Anywho, lets get into the music I've been loving!
Bad At Love- Halsey I know, I know, you're probably bored of seeing this in my playlist posts, but seeing it live really brought it to life for me, there's also a music video for it now which I am diggin'!
December - Neck Deep
In Bloom - Neck Deep Neck Deep is one of those bands I knew I needed to listen to but never got round to doing it, we saw a little bit of their set at Reading (it clashed with Halsey) as my friend likes them and they played these songs and I actually really liked them! I'm definitely gonna listen to some of their newer stuff!
Lonely Night - Fifth Harmony
Angel - Fifth Harmony Their album came out, and although I'm not crazy about it, these are a couple of the songs I do like. Lonely night has this sorta sassy vibe (and I love me a good bit of sass!) and Angel has such a different sound to what they've done before and I am totally here for it! Also, did anyone see their VMA performance? Slaaaay!
OMG - Camila Cabello Okay, so I'm not her biggest fan, and I don't love a lot of her new music, but there's something about this song. I actually hated it when I first heard it, bu I find myself playing it more and more often, and now I'm really feeling it :)
Powerless - Waterparks
Royal - Waterparks
Little Violence - Waterparks Okay, so as if going to Reading Festival wasn't enough, I'm going to see Waterparks this month, so it's only right to play their music, right? These are my faves, but their whole album is a great listen!
Attention - Charlie Puth We have the radio on at work and this song literally comes on all the time, such a bop though!
Thanks so much for reading, do you love any of these songs? What songs would you add to the list?
Until next time,
Cait xx

My Favourite Cleanser: Soap & Glory!

I've never done a skincare post, because to be honest, I'm not really too into skincare, (have you seen my skin?) but I feel like this cleanser deserves a special space on my blog. I've been using it for forever and I always go back to it.
This cleanser is the Soap & Glory Peaches and Cream Cleansing Milk (I know, quite a mouthful!), which you can pick up in Boots for £8 (there's an offer on at the moment where you can buy one and get another half price too!). I use it most nights (I say most because I'm super lazy and the amount of times I've slept in my makeup is both embarassing and upsetting - remind me of this next time I complain my skin looks like a pizza!)

For starters, it smells amazing! Sorta like sweets, sorta like happiness, and it looks cute, which we all know in the blogging world is part of the reason any of us buy anything. I also like that it comes with a pump, because it'd probably last half the time it does without it.
Generally when I use it, I take off my eye makeup and lipstick and then wash off my face makeup using the cleanser, and it does an amazing job! Sometimes (okay a lot more often that I'd like to admit)  I actually take off all my makeup with it. I does take a bit more time but works like a dream. I also love that it doesn't sting when it gets in your eyes lol, a product that stings your eyes should not be allowed near your head! (yes, Loreal 'No Tears' shampoo I'm looking at you!).

I've tried other cleansers, you can see behind the Soap and Glory one there's the micellar water one from Garnier, which is usable, but I find compared to this one, it leaves my skin really really tight, but not in a good way, and if I use it daily, it dries out my skin, which isn't what any of us want (it also stings my eyes, which i do not appreciate!)
I think because it's so creamy, the Soap and Glory cleanser moisturises your skin, my skin always feels super soft in the morning, which makes it a great base for makeup!
Although it looks more expensive when next to other, cheaper cleansers, I think it's worth every penny! I also lasts for months, so I don't feel like I'm spending crazy amounts of money on it. It smells nice, leaves you feeling super clean and moisturises, I'm yet to find a fault with this product, next time you're in Boots, I definitely recommend picking up a bottle!
Thanks so much for reading,
Until next time!

Picking Yourself Up on a Down Day

So as we wave goodbye to Summer and hello to the darker, colder months, I thought I'd do this post, as sometimes the dark, gloomy weather can have us feeling a little worse. We all have them, but the worst feeling in the world is when you can't seem to feel better. Down days suck, but they're part of being human. Because they suck so bad, I thought I'd share some tips on how to pull yourself out of those horrid moods!

  • Music!
Music is one of my favourite things in the world! When I'm in a bad mood, sometimes I wanna wallow in self pity and listen to sad songs that make me feel less alone, and sometimes I wanna put on something that makes wanna get up and dance that bad head space away! I do a playlist post every month that you can find here
  • Fluffy hugs
If you have a pet, why not show them some love? I don't know about you but when I cuddle my kittens (seriously, kitten hugs are the best hugs!), it makes me feel so warm and fuzzy. Definitely helps lift a bad mood.

  • Have a good cry
Sometimes the only way to lift a bad mood is to let it all out. I've been there so many times, curled up in bed, tears streaming down my face, but I always feel better for it! Just remember to have some water handy to ward off that awful dehydration headache you can sometimes get afterwards!

  • TV shows/Movies
When I'm feeling a bit rubbish, I love to watch my childhood faves, or an easy to watch tv show or movie that I don't have to think too hard about. I generally go for the animated version of Alice in Wonderland (the obsession is too real, honestly), ratatouille or Drop Dead Fred (I used to watch it with my dad when I was younger and it always gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling we all love). It's always nice to give yourself a bit of a break and a few giggles!

  • Pamper Yourself!
I don't know anyone that doesn't love a good pamper, have a nice warm bubble bath (or shower), put on a fluffly dressing gown and face mask, maybe even paint your nails, and make your favourite hot chocolate (yes with cream and marshmallows, calories don't count if you're feeling low!) it never hurt anyone to show themselves a little love!
  • Be Productive!
Sometimes the best way to ward off those hopeless feelings is to do something productive. Maybe get ahead on that assignment you've been putting off, give the house a good tidy or re-organise your makeup. It's hard to get started but once you finish you'll hopefully feel tons better!
  • Dress up
What's the occasion? There isn't one. Do it for you girl! I absolutely love pulling out some makeup I don't often use and creating a whole new (and usually dramatic) look, at the very least, it'll kill time, and at best you'll feel like a queen!
My favourite palettes to do this with are the 'Rockstar' palette from Models Own, and the 'Mermaids forever' palette - which I reviewed here. The brushes in this picture I wrote about here
  •  Pyjama Day!
Alternatively, if that's not your thing, you could chill all day in your PJs? A PJ day never hurt anyone.
  • Cry to a friend
Whether you meet up with them or just have a phone call, friends are the best for cheering you up. One of my besties Vicky is amazing for this, I can start a phone call in tears and ranting and end it a couple hours later with the biggest smile from ear to ear. Friends are like little rays of sunshine!
  • Spend some online time with your favourite bloggers
This is one of my absolute favourite things about the blogging community, it's so full of positivity and love. Twitter is great, there's always someone to remind you of your worth on the days where you brain isn't willing to. Communicate, let people know you feel down, other bloggers always make me feel on top of the world, us bloggers are lovely people!

Did any of these ideas help you?
Thanks for reading, Have yourself an amazing day!
Until next time,
Cait xx

Leibster Award!

I was tagged in the Leibster Award by the wonderful Christina from Lady Daniels. I'm so excited to be doing this post,It involves answering 11 questions set by the blogger who tagged ou and then coming up with 11 of your own and tagging the bloggers you want to answer your questions. Let's goooo!

 The questions set by Christina:
What is your favourite makeup brand?
Drugstore: Rimmel, high end: lime crime

What makeup product could you not leave the house without?
I've recently started a job that I'm not allowed to wear makeup to, so I'm getting more and more used to not wearing makeup, but when I do, highlight is my jam! so Imma say highlight :)

Why did you start blogging?
Honestly I've loved reading them since about 2010, and I love the idea of having a corner of the internet to call my own, it also gives me an excuse to be extra with makeup, which I very much enjoy lol

What is your favourite movie?
Drop Dead Fred, it was one I used to watch as a kid, so it makes me feel warm and fuzzy and happy when I watch it
Girl, interrupted is good too :)

Is there anything you have wanted to blog about but decided not to? Why?
My mental health. It's becoming a lot more accepted in the youtube/blogging community which is an amazing thing, but I don't want to become too open with it, which I tend to do if I talk about it with someone that I feel cares. I also feel like I'll be able to be a lot more helpful when I'm stronger. At the moment I'm very up and down, and I don't think sharing it in so much detail will be too good for me or anyone that is struggling that comes across it.

Fashion Icon?
I tend to just wear what I feel comfortable with, I do take inspiration from Taylor Momsen though sometimes, I love edgy fashion!

Android or IOS?
IOS, although I am thinking about getting an android phone for my next upgrade.

If you could meet one celebrity who would it be? Why?
Halsey. The Pretty Reckless and Halsey are my absolute favourites, and I've already met The Pretty Reckless (yes it was the best day of my life and no I don't think I'll ever get over it) so it'd be an absolute dream to met Halsey too. She seems real genuine and friendly with her fans, ugh I just love her!

Last song you listened to?
Most Girs Acoustic- Hailee Steinfeld. Hailee is fast becoming one of my favourite singers. I loved this song when it came out so I was stoked to hear of an acoustic version, and it was everything I wanted it to be! Girl power anthems are fab!

What advice would you give to your younger self?
Go for it! I was so scared to do anything I loved incase others didn't like it. Started a blog in 2014, deleted it because people from school had found out (could you imagine where I'd be now if I'd just kept at it? I stopped dancing because I thought I was bad at it. I've always been so caught up in what other's think and I'm only just now starting to let me be me. I wish I'd have realised this sooner!

Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?
Oooh that's a good one! Probably Winona Ryder.https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=676921040380909037#editor/target=post;postID=8932384398219633789;onPublishedMenu=reading;onClosedMenu=reading;postNum=0;src=link No idea why, I just really appreciate her acting skills lol!
Thanks Christina, I loved these questions! Here's mine:
  1.  What're you most proud of doing with your blog?
  2. What do you hope to achieve with your blog?
  3. What was the best experience of your life? Why?
  4. Tell us one thing you're excited for in the next few months
  5. If you had the chance, would you change your name? why?
  6. What's your favourite thing to do in the name of self care?
  7. Is there anyone you aspire to be like? Why?
  8. If money or time wasn't an issue, where in the world would you most like to visit and what time of the year would you most like to go?
  9. What're you most grateful for about the blogging community?
  10. Do you have any pets? Show us some pictures!
  11. What advice would you give for new bloggers?
Thanks so much for reading! I tag: Lyndsey, Seana, Liz, Samantha, Sarah Lauren, Jessica RoseDellanie and Becca.
Sorry it isn't 11 but I can't think of anymore people lol
I hope you enjoyed this post! I certainly enjoyed writing it!
Thanks for reading
Until next time

Makeup Collection: My Eyeshadow Pallettes!

I've done many posts about makeup, but I've not actually done a makeup collection one. As I own quite an impressive amount of makeup, I thought I'd do seperate parts. Today I'm showing you the eyehsadow palettes I own (spoiler: It's waaaay more than I thought I had!)
Top: In The Night, Bottom: Up In Smoke

Both these Palettes are from W7, and both were a Christmas present. I don't use them too often as I find them chalky in texture, and 'In The Night' doesn't have great pigmentation. They're both a mix of shimmery and matte shades, I do like Up In Smoke for the colours though, the silvery shades are lovely!

I have one palette from Models Own and I love it! This is the Rockstar Palette, and call me tacky but I love the holographic writing on the front. It was really difficult to show the colour names in the picture as they're in silver writing but they're actually really easy to read when you have the palette infront of you. I've actually been using this palette a lot more recently and I like it a lot. My 2 favourite shades are the matte gray which is called 'Hyper', and 'Buzzing', which is a shimmery taupe-gray colour'
top to bottom, left to right: 'Salted Caramel', 'What are You Waiting For?' and 'Mermaids Forever'
If you follow my blog, you'll know that I absolutely adore Makeup Revolution for eyeshadow Palettes, they kill it! I have 3, the 'What Are You Waiting For' palette, the 'Salted Caramel' palette and the 'Mermaids Forever' palette. I won't go into too much detail as I have a review on the Salted Caramel' palette here and the 'Mermaids Forever' palette here. I love the consistency and pigmentation of the colours in this palette, the only thing I wish Makeup Revolution did was put the names on the palette, because they include a plastic sheet that has the colour names on but that usually gets lost lol. Have I said 'Palette' too much yet? Soz

The last palettes I have are a few small ones, which I honestly don't tend to use too often. If you want to know my thoughts on the Tanya Burr one, click here, but the other 3 I rarely use. I actually don't know where the one of the far left is from either, it's one my mum gave me, but I do use that one on ocasion. The colours are good and super shimmery, I'll definitely be using it at festivals!

We're finally at the end! I didn't realise how many I own lol. Do you have alot? If you have a post on yours I'd love to see!
Thank's so much for reading!
Have a lovely day!
Until next time

Monthly Playlist: August 2017

I'm so excited to be writing this post! It's August, do you know what that means? I go to Reading festival this month holaaa!!
I've been doing much better this month! My brain has been a lot happier and I've been super organised! I've also been so inspired with blogging recently too which makes me a very happy bean. It's been a good month!

Here's the music I've been loving!
Mad Hatter - Melanie Martinez
Who doesn't love a bit of Melainie Martinez? Her songs are so clever and meaningful, I also love Alice in Wonderland, so this song is perfect for me! :)
Castle- Halsey
Hold Me down- Halsey
My Medicine - The Pretty Reckless
Prisoner- The Pretty Reckless
As everyone and their dog knows by now, I go to Reading Festival this month, which I am SO excited for! as the 2 acts I am going for are Halsey and The Pretty Reckless, I've been listening lot their albums non stop, and these songs are the ones I find myself putting on repeat over and over again.
Why - Sabrina Carpenter
Gah, I love Sabrina so much! This song is so unlike the music she's released before, I'm so excited to hear the music she releases next!
Reflection - Fifth Harmony
Oldie but goldie! Who doesn't feel sassy af when they put this song on?
Favourite Habit- Diamond White
Another song that's been on my phone for ages, it came on shuffle the other day and I fell in love all over again!
First Time - Kygo & Ellie Goulding
I heard this for the first time when I was volunteering, and I was desperately trying to remember just one part of the lyrics so I could find it when I got in! I love Ellie Goulding, such a unique voice!
Stay Together - Noah Cyrus
Who doesn't love a good song about going out and having a good time?
Sorry Not Sorry - Demi Lovato
When I first heard this song, I hated  it! I thought it sounded childish and like something my 12 year old sister could've written rather than a grown woman. Buuut, the more I listened to it, the more I started to enjoy it. I'm still not sure about the lyrics, but it definitely is a feel good song!
Gloom Boys - Waterparks
Ugh I love a good bit of Waterparks!
Hall of Fame - The Script ft Will.I.Am
Alrighty, so The Script are coming to my town in August, and I was super excited, my mum and I were gonna go see them together for her birthday, but as it turns out, I'm away, so I can't see them :(.
We've still been bopping to their songs though, what a good band!
Uh Huh - Julia Michaels
This was on one of those vevo ads you sometimes get on youtube videos. Usually I take no notice lol but her voice just sounded so unique! And now we're here. Her songs been on repeat ever since.
Sorry this post is so long, guess my ears are super happy this month :)
What music have you been into?
Thanks for reading!
Until next time

Collective Superdrug Haul

So just like every other UK blogger, I was stoked to hear that Superdrug are stocking ELF products. I used to love them, but they became harder to get in the UK so I just forgot about them. A couple weeks ago I decided to go to Superdrug to see what products we have, and here we are!

I actually didn't end up getting any ELF products :(. My store isn't too big, so doesn't stock that much, and a lot of the products we did have weren't in stock. I desperately wanted to try their foundation, but they had every shade but mine, and their highlighter, which of course wasn't in stock. I did get a few nice things though.

Lets get the most boring thing out the way first.
I had to repurchase my moisturiser. I usually get this one or the simple one. Either one is usually on offer in Superdrug, so that's a plus!

Next I repurchased my foundation. I've been super into Rimmel's Lasting Perfection foundation.Although my first impression wasn't great, I've grown to love it. The colour is perfect for my skin and I don't find it streaky or thick like other Rimmel one's I've tried (I guess foundation is just trial and error as everyone's skin is different). My colour is 100 Ivory because I pale af (and I high-key like it that way)

I then thought I'd try Maybelline's Fit Me foundation, which I also got in the palest shade, hoping it would suit my skin as they didn't have any testers? (Spoiler, it does and I'm liking it, not as much as the Rimmel one, but hey, maybe this'll grow on me too!)

The only makeup sponge I ever owned was the Real Techniques one a few years ago, which I did like, but I wanted to try another shape, so I also got Superdrugs own brand makeup sponge (It was actually a toss up between this one and the ELF one, the deciding factor was that this one was purple and the ELF one was pink. Shallow? Probably)
Naturally, the day after I got it, I tried it with the new foundation, and I really liked it! I was shocked that it worked so well when it cost only £3. However, unfortunately, after I washed it, I realised that there was a hole in the side (from washing it, it definitely wasn't there before!). Did I wash it wrong? I have no idea but it did make me quite sad. It's still usable, don't get me wrong. But how frustrating!

The next thing I got was 2 new lipsticks. Anyone that knows anything about me knows that lipstick is my thaaang, so naturally, I couldn't leave the store without picking one up.
I tried this one the day after I got it as I had a wedding reception, and lemme tell ya, this is a steal! I got this for £1.99 and its fast becoming one of my favourites! Apart from the packaging (the bright pink looks sorta tacky/childish in my opinion), everything about it is amazing! It applies well and super quickly and the staying power is insane! I put this on at about 6:30pm, went off to the wedding reception, got a bunch of compliments (no one believed me when I said it was 2 pounds!), ate some food, drank a loot of alcohol and it was still on when I came home at midnight, and wasn't drying on my lips either. If you can deal with the packaging, I strongly recommend the product. Amazing!
Because I loved this so much, when I went back into Superdrug again, I picked up another one!
This one is much lighter and more of a nude shade. On your hand and in the tube it looks orange, but on your lips it's more pinky - my favourite type of nude. I love these so so much!
From MUA, I obviously had to get some highlighters! At £3 each they're amazing too!
The first one, called 'Pearlescent Sheen', has a blue-ish tint which I didn't notice in the store, so this osn't going to be an everyday highlight, but think how lit I'll look when I have blue lipstick ar Reading fest and a litle of this on my cupid's bow! Excitinggg
Pink highlight is one of my faves, so I also picked up 'Pink Shimmer', which has silver in it and looks so pretty in the light!
I also got a brow pencil, as I finally decided that I'm gonna start having my eyebrows done (does anyone have any tips on filling them in?). I don't have any pictures, but unfortunately it's too dark for me :(
Moving on, because I spent over £10 on MUA products, I got a free palette too!
The top two colours are used for contour (which I don't have anything for so that's exciting!) Then from left to right, at the bottom theres: highlight, blush, and 2 eyeshadows. I'm hoping this will be really good because how amazing would this be for on the go though?

Phew! Thanks for sticking around for that crazy long post! Have you tried any of these products? Lemme know what you think!
Have a wonderful day loves!
